Haguenau is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department of the Grand Est region in northeastern France. Located about 30 kilometers north of Strasbourg and approximately 35 kilometers west of the German city of Baden-Baden, it is a rapidly developing city in France and the second-largest in the Bas-Rhin department.

Haguenau is a city worth visiting. The Haguenau History Museum, housed in magnificent buildings, and the Alsatian Museum (Alsatian Museum), located in a Renaissance-style structure, are the best places to learn about the area’s long and complex history and Alsatian folklore. The city boasts numerous historic sites, including the Gothic Saint George Church and Saint Nicholas Church, both built in the 13th century. Three heritage sites, including the Knight's Tower and the Fishermen's Tower, the synagogue, an example of French neoclassical architecture, the medieval Saint George Fountain, the 18th-century fountain, and the 1825 Dolphin Fountain on the street are all notable attractions not to be missed.
