The Santamaría Bullring is located in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia. It was built in 1931 on land donated by a local farmer, Ignacio Sanz de Santamaria, and thus named after him. The bullring can accommodate 14,500 spectators, and on event days, it becomes packed with cheering fans. Outside the bullring stands a statue of Pepe Cáceres, one of Colombia’s most famous and esteemed bullfighters, widely regarded as the greatest in the country and deeply revered by many.
