Cali is located in western Colombia and is the capital of the Valle del Cauca Department, as well as the country’s third-largest city. Founded in 1536, it currently serves as the cultural and economic hub of southwestern Colombia, boasting rapid economic development. It is also the country’s main sports center and the only city in Colombia to have hosted the Pan American Games, the World Games, and the World Youth Athletics Championships.
