Introduction

Independence Declaration Memorial    The Independence Declaration Memorial was formerly the Malacca Club, built in 1912. Today, it houses photographs from before and after Malaysia’s independence as well as portraits of Tunku Abdul Rahman, the country’s first Prime Minister. Visitors can view historically significant documents, maps, treaties, videotapes, films, meeting records, press releases, and materials related to the struggle for independence.    Transportation
