Introduction

Hang Jebat's Tomb is located on Kampung Kuli Road. Hang Jebat is a legendary figure in Malaysia. Legend has it that he and his four close friends studied Silat (Malay martial arts) together and attained the highest level of mastery. Once, they saved the prime minister and were appointed as the Sultan’s bodyguards due to their bravery and skills. Later, Hang Jebat was betrayed by the Sultan and killed by his close friend, Hang Tuah.
