Located in Pattaya, Chonburi Province, the Pattaya Elephant Village was established in 1973 to provide a safe living environment for elephants, protecting them from harm. Visiting the elephant village is not only a spiritual experience but also an act of kindness, as the admission fees paid by visitors help ensure the present and future well-being of the elephants. Visitors can enjoy unique elephant performances, with some elephants even wearing special performance costumes — the shows are highly professional. The acts include traditional logging skills, dancing, handstands, dart throwing, soccer playing, and parades mimicking medieval war elephants. Visitors can also ride elephants on jungle adventures. Through close interaction with the elephants, they will find them to be gentle, intelligent, playful, and endearing, earning high praise from visitors.
