Koshigaya City

Koshigaya City is a city in southeastern Saitama Prefecture, Japan, established in 1958. It is located 30 kilometers from Tokyo and currently holds the status of a Special City, a Core City of the "Land of Color" (Sai no Kuni), and a Business Core City. The city is known as the birthplace of Japan's National Health Insurance system and is also home to Bunkyo University and Saitama Prefectural University.

The Koshigaya City Products Exhibition Hall is a facility dedicated to showcasing the city’s specialty products, including rice crackers, paulownia boxes, dolls, and indigo-dyed goods. Other tourist destinations in the area include Koshigaya Ume Park, Kiihzu Shrine, the Koshigaya Palace Ruins, Anguo Temple, Katori Shrine, Koshigaya General Park, and Tofukuji Temple.
