The interior maintains typical 18th-century English furnishings and displays the luggage, related items used during Cook’s three voyages, as well as information about the cottage’s construction and restoration. The towering trees in the park, some of which are over a hundred years old, stand like silent elders recounting Melbourne’s long history.
