Collins Street is the main street in the central business district of Melbourne, Australia, and is hailed as "Australia's premier street." The section between Elizabeth Street and King Street serves as Melbourne's financial hub, also known as the Financial Precinct, housing numerous bank headquarters, stock exchanges, and financial investment firms.

Collins Street was designed by the renowned 19th-century British surveyor and urban planner Robert Hoddle. The street is exactly one mile long and 99 feet wide. Despite being a financial district, the street has an elegant charm, lined with many classic Victorian-era buildings, making it a living architectural museum. Along the street are several historic cathedrals, such as the Collins Street Baptist Church built in 1845, St. Michael’s Uniting Church constructed in 1866, and the Scots’ Church (Presbyterian) completed in 1874. Remarkably, all these churches remain active places of worship to this day.

Collins Street is Melbourne's primary commercial thoroughfare and home to the Southern Hemisphere’s most prestigious luxury shopping destination. The street features flagship stores of numerous high-end retailers: Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Armani, Tiffany & Co., Emporio Armani, Ralph Lauren, and The Book Grocer, among others.
