Taohua Mountain in Lingqiu is a national A-level tourist attraction.

Taohua Mountain is located near Shahu Gate in Hongshitang Township, Lingqiu County, Datong City. At the foot of the mountain, springs gush forth, while the slopes are covered in blooming peach blossoms. Over millions of years of natural formation, a series of natural karst caves have developed, the main ones being Taohua Cave and Bat Cave. Taohua Cave is situated at an altitude of 1,900 meters on Taohua Mountain. This cave has a history of 1.7 million years and is still in a growth phase. Inside the cave, stalactites stand in various shapes—some like large white jade bead curtains, some like intricately woven brocade drapes, some like generals clad in armor, and others like clusters of fresh mushrooms, layered and vibrant. The Peach Blossom Fairy, holding a celestial peach and wearing a smile, attracts countless young men and women who come to catch a glimpse of her. Bat Cave is located at an altitude of 900 meters on the northern side of Taohua Mountain. The cave is spacious and interconnected. The main chamber extends over 70 meters and has six exits. Thousands of bats hang densely from the ceiling, like strings of black spirits, emerging at night and resting during the day—an intriguing sight. The western chamber features naturally formed murals on the walls and ceiling that are strikingly lifelike.
