Pingxingguan Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

Pingxingguan Martyrs' Cemetery is located in Lingyuan Village, Wuling Town, Lingqiu County, southeast of Lingqiu County. Originally named "Lingqiu County Martyrs' Cemetery," it was first built in July 1962 and completed with the erection of its monument on September 25, 1965. The entire cemetery covers a total area of 60 mu and features main buildings such as the Martyrs' Memorial Hall, Martyrs' Tower, Monument, Exhibition Hall, and Martyrs' Tombs, with a total construction area of over 3,000 square meters. The main burial area of the cemetery houses the remains of 556 martyrs of the Eighth Route Army and other anti-Japanese fighters who sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Pingxingguan, laid to rest in 24 tombs. The memorial hall's plaques commemorate the names of 989 martyrs from Lingqiu who were killed in action or while performing party and government duties during various historical periods. The eastern burial area of the cemetery contains the graves of 86 martyrs who died during the construction of the Beijing-Yuanping Railway and the Lingqiu Air Force Airport. Behind the memorial hall is a hexagonal martyrs' monument pavilion. The front of the monument is inscribed with the words "The Spirit of the Pingxingguan Martyrs Will Last Forever," while the back records the history of the Battle of Pingxingguan and the struggles of the people of Lingqiu.

The cemetery is a national-level war memorial facility, a Shanxi Provincial Patriotic Education Base, and a Shanxi Provincial-level Protected Martyrs' Memorial Facility.
