The ruins of the ancient city of the Wushi Kingdom from the Han Dynasty are located about 300 meters east of the government seat of Quhui Township in Hoxud County. The site is built with rammed yellow earth. At the southwest corner, there remains an earthen mound approximately 3.6 meters in length and width, and about 2.4 meters in height. The city was rectangular in shape, and artifacts such as painted pottery jars, bead strings, and Kaiyuan Tongbao coins have been unearthed here. According to Mr. Huang Wenbi’s *Archaeological Records of the Tarim Basin*, this is the site of the capital of the Han-era Wushi Kingdom. It is now a cultural relics protection unit at the autonomous region level.
