The Ancient City of Yangqu County is a cultural relic protection unit of Xinzhou City.

The Ancient City of Yangqu County is located around Chengnei Village in Jinchang Town, Dingxiang County. The city wall stretches a total length of 12.44 kilometers. Currently, parts of the southern, western, and northern walls remain, with surviving sections reaching heights of 1 to 6 meters, totaling over 1,000 meters in length. The base of the walls is about 40 meters wide, and the overall distribution area covers approximately 40,000 square meters. The walls were built using rammed earth, with each layer being 0.09 to 0.12 meters thick. The surrounding area of the site is relatively flat. In 1981, the Dingxiang County People’s Government designated it as a county-level cultural relic protection unit.
