Dingxiang Zunjing Pavilion

Dingxiang Zunjing Pavilion is a cultural heritage site protected by Dingxiang County.

Zunjing Pavilion is located in Chengnei Village, Jinchang Town, Dingxiang County. It faces south and measures 21 meters in length from east to west, and 20.1 meters in width from north to south, covering an area of approximately 422 square meters. It was built in the 12th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1832). The main structure of the building remains largely intact, though some roof tiles on the front eaves have fallen off. It sits on a brick-encased platform that is 21 meters wide, 11.1 meters deep, and 1.5 meters high. The building has seven bays in width and four rafters in depth, with a front corridor, a single-eave hanging hip roof, and a two-story structure supported by six rafters. In addition, there is an auxiliary building in the courtyard — a three-bay eastern wing with a single-eave flush gable roof and a single-slope tiled roof, which is a later addition. Zunjing Pavilion was constructed under the supervision of then-county magistrate Liao Ao (a native of Nanhai, Guangdong). In 2007, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site by the People’s Government of Dingxiang County.
