Beixili Grand Temple

Beixili Grand Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Xinzhou City.

Beixili Grand Temple is located in Beixili Village, Jinchang Town, Dingxiang County. It faces south with its back to the north. The temple measures 11.1 meters in length from east to west and 8.4 meters in width from north to south, covering an area of approximately 93 square meters. According to inscriptions on the beams, it was built in the 43rd year of the Wanli era during the Ming Dynasty (1615). Originally, the temple had a mountain gate, a passageway hall, and a main hall along its central axis, with side rooms on the east and west. Now only the main hall remains, which is the principal structure within the temple complex. It has a two-story building structure, a width of three bays, a depth of four rafters, a front porch, a single-eave hanging hip roof, and a five-purlin structural system. Beixili Village: Beixili Village is under the jurisdiction of Jinchang Town, adjacent to Wangjin Village, Daiyang Village, and Dong Village. Major agricultural products include cucumbers, small green pumpkins, eggplants, figs, lettuce, soybeans, scallions, Brussels sprouts, and pears. Village resources consist of Fushan stone, bauxite, alumina, mirabilite, aluminum, and silver.
