The Zhonghuoxi Site

The Zhonghuoxi Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Dingxiang County.

The Zhonghuoxi Site (commonly known as the Huoguang Site) is located about 400 meters west of Zhonghuo Village, Nanwang Township, Dingxiang County. Situated on a flat terrace at the foot of a mountain, it stretches approximately 100 meters from east to west, 100 meters from east to west, and 60 meters from north to south, with a remaining area of about 6,000 square meters. Gray earthenware shards have been collected from the surface. It is a Han Dynasty site. It was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit in 1981. Zhonghuo Village: Zhonghuo Village, Nanwang Township, Dingxiang County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, is under the administration of Nanwang Township. It is adjacent to Zhang Village, Lijiaping Village, Donghuo Village, and Yuchiao Village. The village boasts abundant water resources, rich produce, and fresh air. Major agricultural products include cucumbers, watercress, cantaloupes, and oyster mushrooms. Local resources consist of copper matte ore and perlite.
