Qingshan Temple in Dai County

Qingshan Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Dai County.

Qingshan Temple is located to the west of Kouzi Village, Xingao Township, Dai County. Its founding date is unknown. According to inscriptions within the temple, it was renovated in the 15th year of the Qianlong reign (1750) and the 14th year of the Daoguang reign (1834) during the Qing Dynasty, and the current structure dates back to the Qing era. The temple faces south and covers an area of 593 square meters. It features a single-courtyard layout, with a stage and the main hall aligned along the central axis. The main hall sits on a brick foundation that is 8.5 meters wide, 7.9 meters deep, and 0.45 meters high. The hall has three bays in width and four rafters in depth, with a single-eave hanging gable roof and a five-rafter front-corridor framing system. The front eaves of the central and side bays are fitted with six-panel lattice doors. There are two Qing Dynasty stone tablets recording temple renovations currently preserved at the site.
