Longzhen An

Longzhen An is a cultural heritage site protected by Dai County.

Longzhen An, located on Xiayuan Street, Fucun, Eko Town, Dai County. The year of its establishment is unknown. According to existing inscriptions, it was renovated in the 61st year of the Kangxi reign (1722), the 7th year of the Yongzheng reign (1729), and the 1st year of the Xianfeng reign (1851) of the Qing Dynasty. It faces east and covers an area of 779 square meters. The temple has a single-courtyard layout, with the mountain gate and the main hall built along the central axis. These structures date back to the Qing Dynasty, while the rest have been newly constructed. The main hall sits on a stone base, which is 9.45 meters wide, 8.3 meters deep, and 0.6 meters high. It features a three-bay width and four-rafter depth, with a single-eave gable-and-hip roof and a five-rafter front-corridor framing structure. The front eaves of the middle and side bays are fitted with four-panel lattice doors. There are currently three Qing Dynasty renovation steles preserved inside the temple. Eko Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Dai County. It was part of the Nieying Commune in 1958, became the Eko Commune in 1961, and was established as a town in 1984. Located in the southeastern part of the county, it is 28 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 83.1 square kilometers, it has a population of 34,600. The Beijing-Yuanping Railway, the Taiyuan Iron and Steel Eko Iron Mine dedicated railway, and the highway leading to Mount Wutai pass through the area.
