Erlang Temple, Dai County

Erlang Temple in Dai County is a cultural relic protection unit of Dai County.

Erlang Temple is located southeast of Yukou Village, Yukou Township, Dai County. Its exact date of establishment is unknown, but the existing structure features Qing Dynasty architectural style. Facing south and covering an area of 720 square meters, the temple has a single-courtyard layout with a stage, offering hall, and main hall along the central axis, and side halls on the east and west. The main hall is connected to the offering hall, sharing a linked roof design and a common platform base that is 12.1 meters wide, 11.5 meters deep, and 0.6 meters high. The main hall is three bays wide and four rafters deep, with a single-eave hanging gable roof and a five-rafter, corridor-free structural system. The front eaves of the central and side bays feature four-panel six-leaf lattice doors. The offering hall has a single-eave roll-roofed hanging gable roof and a four-rafter, corridor-free structural system.
