Daizhou Government Office

The Daizhou Government Office is a cultural heritage site protected by Dai County.

The Daizhou Government Office is located within the government compound on North Dajie, Dongbeijiecun, Shangguanzhen, Dai County. According to the Guangxu-era Daizhou Annals of the Qing Dynasty, it was built in the 10th year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1377), and underwent multiple renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The existing structures date back to the Qing Dynasty. Facing south and laid out along a central north-south axis, the complex follows a four-courtyard layout and covers an area of 1,202 square meters. The central axis includes two courtyards, with the remaining Second Hall and Third Hall still extant; side rooms are located on both sides. Additionally, there are two more courtyards on the western side of the axis. The Second Hall has three bays and the Third Hall five bays, both featuring single-eave flush gable roofs with front porches. Dongbeijiecun: Dongbeijiecun is a village under the jurisdiction of Shangguanzhen, Dai County, Shanxi Province. Located at the northeast corner of the county town and adjacent to the main thoroughfare, the village enjoys convenient transportation.
