Shangqiaozhuang Site

The Shangqiaozhuang Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Dai County.

The Shangqiaozhuang Site is located approximately 400 meters east of Shangqiaozhuang Village in Xingao Township, Dai County. It spans about 150 meters from east to west and 300 meters from north to south, covering an area of around 45,000 square meters. The site sits on a terrace on the eastern bank of the Hutuo River, sloping from south to north with relatively gentle terrain. Surface finds include sand-tempered gray pottery and clay gray pottery shards, with vessel surfaces decorated with rope patterns, combed patterns, or left plain, though the exact forms of the vessels are unknown. The site is a cultural remnant from the Neolithic Age. In 1984, the Dai County People's Government designated it as a county-level cultural relic protection unit.
