The Twenty-Li Pu Fort Ruins

The Twenty-Li Pu Fort Ruins are a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shanxi Province.

The Twenty-Li Pu Fort Ruins are located in Twenty-Li Pu Village, Zaolin Town, Dai County. The eastern gate on the eastern wall is largely intact, with a 16-meter-long section of the fort wall extending south of the gate. The southern, western walls, and the western gate of the fort have long been destroyed. The northern wall of the fort is mostly well-preserved, measuring 150 meters in length, with a base width of 5.5 meters, a top width of 2.4 meters, and a height of 5.2 meters. Its outer stone and brick facade has long been dismantled, and residential buildings now occupy parts of the northern wall. It is a relic from the Ming Dynasty and one of the thirty-nine forts and twelve connected cities within the county.
