The Jin-Shaan Yellow River Grand Canyon stretches approximately 90 kilometers from Qikou Ancient Town along the Yellow River northward to Buba Township in Lin County. Key attractions include the "Hundred-Mile Gallery" – Yellow River water-eroded reliefs, the natural bathing beach at Qilin Beach on the Yellow River, loess landforms, jujube orchards, scenic views along the route, and Yellow River rafting. The Jin-Shaan Yellow River Grand Canyon is currently the largest and longest Yellow River cultural tourism destination in China, boasting extremely high ornamental and scientific value.

Yellow River Water-Eroded Reliefs: Traveling 20 kilometers northward along the Yellow River from Qikou, the cliffs on both banks feature natural wind and water-eroded reliefs crafted over hundreds of millions of years. Stretching for a hundred miles, these formations present a gallery-like effect when viewed from the river—some grand and majestic, others delicate and understated, evoking the essence of ink-wash painting and abstract relief art. Up close, the reliefs primarily consist of stone carvings, reliefs, and line engravings, complemented by flat line carvings, openwork, and round carving techniques. With their diverse shapes and vivid visual impact, they can be described as a "Hundred-Mile Gallery" on the Yellow River that integrates painting, architecture, sculpture, and calligraphy from ancient to modern times, both in China and abroad. The scale is grand, and the imagery vividly surreal, making it a unique spectacle in China. This highly scenic natural relief gallery on the Yellow River cliffs was formed during geological movements about 20,000 years ago. Over millennia, erosion by river winds, rain, snow, and water has caused the rock faces to erode unevenly, gradually forming an undulating, continuous surface. Experts believe this site qualifies for national geological park status.

Qilin Beach Natural Bathing Area: Named after the ancient legend of the "Qilin Bringing a Child," Qilin Beach lies at the foot of Lijiashan Village. Flat and expansive, it spans over 200 acres of irrigated land, presenting a vast expanse of lush green. A sandy beach separates the green fields from the Yellow River. After countless washes by the river, the sand here is exceptionally pure—fine, soft, and smooth. Walking barefoot, each step sinks deeply into the sand. In summer, under the blazing sun, the Yellow River beach is crowded with people enjoying sand baths. Soaking in the fine, silky sand for ten to twenty minutes before jumping into the gently warm waters of the Yellow River instantly washes away fatigue. Here, humans and nature merge, cleansing both body and soul. It has now developed into a high-quality natural bathing area. Qilin Beach is also a great spot to find unique and colorful stones from the Yellow River.

Loess Landforms: The Loess Plateau is one of the three major discoveries in the life of the renowned painter Wu Guanzhong, who regarded it as a colossal gold mine. Standing atop the hill in the Yellow River Cultural Park and looking down, the loess hills resemble waves in a golden ocean, stretching endlessly, evoking feelings of openness, desolation, or grandeur. When viewed from the base of the hills, the sheer cliffs create a sense of uprightness and enduring strength.

Yellow River Rafting: Drifting down the Yellow River, rising and falling with the waves, you’ll gaze at the undulating majestic mountains on both banks. Along the way, you’ll spot water-eroded reliefs, ancient pagodas and temples, villages with cave dwellings, mulberry groves, jujube thickets, and peculiar peaks and rocks scattered across the landscape, while the moist river breeze brushes against your face. Occasionally passing through thrilling rapids, the boat rocks and sways, adding an extra thrill. Yellow River rafting is a signature experience in the Qikou scenic area.
