Era: Northern and Southern Dynasties

Location: Northwest of Shijie Village, Yuci District

There are currently six earthen burial mounds remaining above ground, locally known as the “Royal Tombs.” The tombs are scattered across the loess plateau’s tableland ridges, covering an area of about 80,000 square meters. Historical records indicate that one of the ancient tombs belongs to Han Gui, the Zhongshu Ling (Chief Secretary) of the Northern Qi Dynasty. These six earthen mounds, along with another un-mounded tomb that has been identified, all belong to the tomb complex of the Han Gui family. All the tombs feature a vertical shaft, corridor passage, and sloped entrance passage characteristic of earthen pit tombs.
