Mandarin Duck Lake is a natural karst plateau lake. Paddle in to take a closer look, and you’ll see trees rooted in rocks submerged in water, yet growing through the stones down to the riverbed. Thanks to variations in terrain, water depth, and light, the scenery here displays a spectrum of colors.

Transportation

By Car:

There is a shuttle bus from Libo County Bus Station to the Da Xiao Qikong (Big and Small Seven-Arch Bridges) area. Buses run every 15 minutes between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with a fare of 9 RMB.

By Taxi:

Taxis in Libo County start at 4 RMB for the flag-down fare. You can negotiate a fixed price with the driver for a private car to Da Xiao Qikong. However, as Libo County is quite small, walking is usually sufficient unless you have specific needs.

Private Car Hire:

For groups larger than 6 people or if sharing a ride, you can consider hiring a private car. This is especially recommended if you’re going to Maolan, where driving or hiring a car is preferable. A typical 7-seater van with a driver to Maolan starts at 300 RMB per day, while round-trip pick-up and drop-off service for Da Xiao Qikong starts at 150 RMB per day.
