Location: Yiquan Village, Huangtu Town, Xixian County, Linfen City

Between 1938 and 1939, the headquarters of the 2nd Column of the Decisive Death Detachment was stationed here. According to the Mao Zedong Chronology compiled by the Central Literature Research Office and works such as the Mao Zedong Military Writings compiled by the Central Literature Research Office and the Academy of Military Science of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, on February 21, 1936, Mao Zedong led the headquarters of the Red Army vanguard across the river from Hekou in Qingjian County, Shaanxi, into Shanxi. On April 4, Mao Zedong and Peng Dehuai moved the headquarters to Yiquan Village in Huangtu Town at the eastern end of Xixian County, departing on April 7. They camped in Yiquan Village again on April 23. The 2nd Column of the Decisive Death Detachment was established in December 1937 and comprised the 4th, 5th, and 6th Detachments. The 2nd Column and the Fenxi Guerrilla Unit cooperated to win the Wucheng Battle, thwarting the enemy's attempt to occupy the Yellow River crossing, which was of great significance for establishing the anti-Japanese base in southwestern Shanxi and securing the Yellow River defense of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region.

The site faces south and covers an area of approximately 680 square meters. It consists of the headquarters (main house), logistics department (east wing room), security office (east wing room), staff department (west wing room), political department (west wing room), and the gate tower.
