Cehebei Panjiang National Wetland Park

Cehebei Panjiang National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

The total wetland area in Southwest Guizhou Prefecture is 388,700 mu, with four existing national pilot parks covering a planned area of 185,500 mu and an actual wetland area of 102,800 mu, resulting in a wetland protection rate of 26.43%. The newly added two national pilot wetland parks in Cehe and Wangmo—Beipanjiang National Wetland Parks—have a combined planned area of 71,400 mu and an actual wetland area of 45,800 mu. As a result, the prefecture’s total planned area for national pilot wetland parks has increased from 185,500 mu to 256,900 mu, the actual wetland area from 102,800 mu to 148,600 mu, and the overall wetland protection rate from 26.43% to 38.23%.
