The Shiyeh Natural Museum in Chenghua District, Chengdu, is located on the third and fourth floors of Chengdu 339 Commercial Complex beneath the Chengdu TV Tower. It covers an area of 65 acres, with a total construction area of 245,000 square meters. The museum's usable space spans 27,500 square meters, including 16,000 square meters of exhibition halls, 1,100 square meters of storage space, and 2,100 square meters dedicated to specimen preservation technology. The museum has three administrative departments — the office and security division — and employs 26 staff members. It is open 270 days a year. In line with the nature and mission of a natural museum, the exhibition design centers around the theme of "Nature · Humanity," encapsulating elements such as natural phenomena, laws, and relationships. The initial collection features over 300 pieces (sets) of exhibits, arranged along an interpretive thread that moves from "appearance" to "essence," showcasing four major thematic sections: "Colorful Homeland," "Diverse Life," "Survival Wisdom," and "Endless Continuation."
