Guandi Tower (Batch 4 Provincial Protected Site)

Era: Yuan Dynasty

Address: Taosi Village, Taosi Township, Xiangfen County

Originally built in the Yuan Dynasty. It is a pavilion-style building with a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof. A waist eave was added between the upper and lower eaves during later renovations, giving it a triple-eaved hip-and-gable roof today.

The main body of the tower is square, measuring 4.7 meters on each side, surrounded by a corridor 2.1 meters deep. Two corner pillars have horizontal inner beams to support the roof of the corridor. Its beams, brackets, and other components... (are preserved in good condition). Extended reading:
