Hongge Hot Springs is located in Hongge Town, Yanbian County, 30 kilometers from the city center and 1 kilometer from the exit of the Xichang-Panzhihua Expressway. Hongge Hot Springs is a rare and precious medical mineral spring resource in China. It is widely renowned for its unique natural resources. The thermal mineral water is a weakly alkaline chloride–sodium high-temperature medical light mineral water, containing a complex of lithium, radon, silicon, hydrogen sulfide, and metaboric acid. With a water temperature of 57°C, it is rich in over 60 types of minerals and is beneficial for treating conditions such as arteriosclerosis, coronary heart disease, obesity, neurological disorders, digestive system issues, rheumatism, and arthritis.

It has notable therapeutic effects. The water leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth without tightness after bathing. The cold spring is a high-quality natural drinking mineral water rich in various trace elements such as metasilicic acid and strontium, offering great development potential.

The “three-phase” development plan of Hongge Hot Springs involved Japanese hot spring experts in its planning. The planned development area spans 4.3 square kilometers, with the goal of establishing it as an internationally renowned leisure and resort destination by 2007.

In addition to its exceptional hot spring resources, Hongge Hot Springs also features a comprehensive resort hotel that meets three-star international standards. The hotel integrates hot spring therapy, leisure vacationing, conference hosting, and tourism sightseeing. It serves as a key startup project and important showcase for the Panzhihua Municipal Government in developing tourism economy through investment attraction in the Hongge Hot Springs Tourism and Vacation Development Zone.
