Changchongqing Forest Park

Changchongqing Forest Park is located in Jinhe Township, on the opposite bank of Tongzilin in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, about 30 kilometers from the city center. The park covers an area of over 740 acres, including more than 200 acres of water surface and 500 acres of woodland. The entire park is surrounded by mountains, with lush trees, shimmering blue waters, and wildflowers covering the hillsides. The main attraction is a reservoir with a dam 33 meters high, where the water is as clear as a mirror, reflecting the sky and drifting clouds, while fallen petals and playful fish enliven the surface. The surrounding area features green grass spreading like a carpet right to the water’s edge, with unusual and ancient trees leaning beside the lake, offering superb natural scenery.

Visitors coming here for travel, leisure, or vacation can enjoy various activities: water lovers can go boating, swimming, or fishing; mountain enthusiasts can admire flowers, hike, or forage for mushrooms. Truly, as the saying goes, "The wise find joy in the mountains, the benevolent find joy in the water," and everyone can find their own pleasure. In summer, especially after rain, the entire park area is shrouded in thick mist and vast seas of clouds, with temperatures about 5 degrees Celsius lower than in the city. It is a paradise for children, an ideal spot for teenagers to socialize and gather, and a perfect retreat for middle-aged and elderly visitors to relax and recuperate.

In October 1999, Changchongqing Forest Park was designated as an official tourism site in Panzhihua City by the Sichuan Provincial Tourism Bureau. Featured offerings:
