Jiacun Jade Emperor Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shanxi Province.

Jiacun Jade Emperor Temple, with an unknown date of establishment, features a single-courtyard layout, facing south and situated northward. It is 21 meters long from east to west and 10 meters wide from north to south, covering a total area of 210 square meters.

The existing main hall is a remnant structure from the Yuan Dynasty. The main hall is situated on a 0.32-meter-high stone platform, with a three-bay width and a depth of six rafters. The roof structure includes four-rafter beams and bracket sets supporting a single-eave gable and hip roof, covered with green tiles. The eaves feature carved brackets and painted rafters, displaying typical architectural features of the Yuan and Ming periods. The hall's mountain walls contain an inscribed stone slab from the 22nd year of the Ming Dynasty’s Jiajing era (1543), recording the reconstruction of the temple.

Jiacun Village: Jiacun is located southwest of Lucheng District, adjacent to National Highway 207 (Changzhi–Handan Road), 9 km from Lucheng and 4 km from the town government. To the west lies the Changbei Trunk Highway, and to the north is the Jinshui Group. The village enjoys convenient transportation. It administers 11 villager groups, with over 750 households and a population of approximately 2,804 people, including 70 party members. The total land area of the village is 4,950 mu. The main industries in Jiacun are agricultural cultivation and migrant work.

Jiacun has a rich cultural heritage and is considered the birthplace of she society culture, music household culture, and Nuo opera culture in the Shangdang region. In 2006, the folk fire performances of Jiacun were listed as part of the “National Intangible Cultural Heritage…” For more detailed information about Jiacun Village++
