The Former Site of the People's Auditorium in Lucheng County is a Soviet-style building with strong characteristics of its era. In early 1951, it was constructed by a local engineering team using architectural blueprints provided by Soviet experts at the time. With a total cost of over 400 million old Chinese yuan and built over the course of more than a year, it was the finest venue in southeastern Shanxi at the time. The surviving structure of the auditorium consists of a gateway and the main hall. The entire complex faces south and measures 71.15 meters in length from north to south and 15.59 meters in width from east to west, covering an area of 1,109.2 square meters.

The main hall has a rectangular floor plan and is designed in a Soviet architectural style. The front section is a two-story structure with a porch, featuring four stone columns at the entrance and forming an arched portal. The side sections also have arched portals, with the second floor featuring arched windows. The interior is divided into a main hall and side aisles, with the main hall rising in tiers and currently refurbished inside. It can accommodate over 1,000 people for events and entertainment.
