The Former Site of the Chuiyang Arsenal of the Eighth Route Army Military Industry Department is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shanxi Province and a classic red tourism destination.

Address: Located in the center of Chuiyang Village, Shihui Township, Lucheng City, Changzhi, in the northwest of the county town, about 2 km from the county seat

The former site of the Sixth Arsenal of the Eighth Route Army Military Industry Department in Chuiyang is located at the Jade Emperor Temple, measuring 47 meters from north to south and 28 meters from east to west, covering an area of 1,316 square meters. It is one of the better-preserved arsenals from the wartime period in Lucheng City. At that time, the arsenal had over 200 workers and mainly produced rifle bolts, 60mm artillery shells, and other items. The machinery was installed inside the main hall of the Jade Emperor Temple, while the stirring machine, belt lathe, and generator were set up to the east of the temple. The facility included blacksmiths, metalworkers, and electricians. The testing ground for the arsenal was located to the north of Anju Village.

During the arduous years of the revolutionary war, the former site of the Sixth Arsenal of the Eighth Route Army Military Industry Department in Chuiyang produced a large number of ammunition, which strongly supported frontline combat operations and made significant contributions to the victory of the revolutionary war. Its historical achievements will be forever remembered.
