Description: The Tomb of the Yin Couple is located at Yajia Dagengshan in Huaishagu, Shuikou Village, Xiadong Township. It faces south and covers an area of approximately 180 square meters. The tomb mound is enclosed by strip stones and covered with earth, measuring 15 meters in length, 12 meters in width, and 1.2 meters in height. It is a joint burial tomb for two people. In front of the mound stands a stele pavilion built in a stone imitation wooden structure, featuring a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, six pillars, five bays, and seven tiers. On both sides are drum-shaped columns. The pavilion stands 4.6 meters tall, 5.6 meters wide, and 0.8 meters thick. The pavilion, beams, central bay, and drum-shaped columns are adorned with high-relief, openwork, and round-carved designs depicting theatrical scenes, flowers, animals, and mythical creatures, all intricately carved. The central bay features a plaque inscribed with “Blessing Future Generations,” while the pillars are inscribed with the couplet “Honoring ancestors and lineage brings deep roots and lush branches; honoring merit and virtue accumulates thick virtue and radiant light.” The central bay also contains the tomb stele, which records the era as “the fifth year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty…” This tomb serves as a valuable physical resource for studying funeral customs and stone carving art in central Sichuan, possessing significant historical value.
