Hualong Wang Family Ancestral Hall

The Hualong Wang Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

The Wang Family Ancestral Hall in Hualong Township, Wangcang County, is located at Group 3, Tingzi Village, Hualong Township, Wangcang County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. It faces southeast and is situated northwest, covering an area of approximately 500 square meters with a built-up area of about 360 square meters.

The Wang Family Ancestral Hall in Hualong Township, Wangcang County, was built during the Jiaqing era. It comprises a front hall, a main hall, and wing rooms to the northeast and southwest. The building has a mixed post-and-lintel and stacked-beam framework, a double-eave hip-and-gable roof, and is covered with small blue tiles. Front Hall: plain base, 18.25 meters wide and 1 meter high, with five steps; the facade is 16.7 meters wide with five bays and 8.35 meters deep with two bays, standing 10 meters tall, and the entrance is shaped like a traditional Chinese character “八” (eight). Main Hall: plain base, 18.25 meters wide and 1 meter high, with five steps; the facade is 16.7 meters wide with five bays and 6.9 meters deep, standing 7.5 meters tall. Wing Rooms (Northeast and Southwest): plain base, 10 meters wide and 0.25 meters high; the facade is 10 meters wide with three bays and 3.3 meters deep with two bays, standing 5 meters tall. Courtyard: 8.7 meters long and 8.3 meters wide. This structure provides tangible material for studying the architectural styles and characteristics of the region.

In March 2010, based on the historical, artistic, and scientific value of this cultural relic, the People's Government of Wangcang County designated it as a County-Level Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit under Document No. Wangfu Han [2010] 97.

Protective boundary: extends 5 meters beyond the occupied area.

Construction control zone: extends 15 meters beyond the protective boundary.
