Jinxian Confucius Temple is located on Wenmiao Street in Jinxian Town, Jiange County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. Originally built in the early Yuan Dynasty, it was renovated during the Ming and Qing Dynasties as well as the early Republican period. The temple complex has a traditional quadrangle layout, facing south with a northern entrance, covering a built-up area of 519 square meters. Existing structures include the front hall (Wenchang Palace), side chambers on both sides, the Dacheng Hall, the Pan Pond, and some stone steles from the Qing Dynasty.

The Wenchang Palace, originally built in the early Yuan Dynasty and renovated in the Qing Dynasty, features a single-eave hip-and-gable roof covered with small blue tiles, a post-and-lintel timber frame, and a seven-step stairway with hanging balustrades. The side chambers (Guanyin Hall and Caishen Hall), renovated in the early Republican period, are constructed with wooden suspended gable-and-hip roofs, also using post-and-lintel frames and covered with small blue tiles. The Dacheng Hall, situated to the south, was built in the Qing Dynasty, featuring a wooden hip-and-gable roof with small blue tiles, a post-and-lintel frame, and a seven-step stairway with hanging balustrades. Approximately 1.5 meters in front of the Dacheng Hall lies the well-preserved Qing Dynasty Pan Pond, which is spanned by a single-stone arch bridge—a unique feature. In early 1935, during the stay of the Fourth Front Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in Jiange, the Confucius Temple served as the location of the Jinxian County Soviet Government as well as military and political departments. In 1991, Jinxian Confucius Temple was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit by the People's Government of Jiange County.

Protected area: extends to the junction of the outer wall drip line with residential buildings to the east and south, and 20 meters beyond the outer walls to the west and north.

Construction control zone: an additional 10 meters beyond the protected area.
