Former Site of Hualin Brigade

The former site of Hualin Brigade is a Sichuan Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The former site of Hualin Brigade is located in Hualin Village, Heling Town. Hualin Brigade was once hailed by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council as “a red flag in the southern mountainous areas” and “Sichuan’s Dazhai.” In July 2012, the former site of Hualin Brigade was designated as part of the eighth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.

Protected Area: A 20-meter buffer zone extends outward from the boundaries of cultural heritage sites including the reception station office building, brigade warehouse, national grain storage point, supply and marketing cooperative complex building, health station complex building, central reservoir, forest farm, and the artificially terraced land at Nianpanwo.

Construction Control Zone: A 10-meter buffer zone extends outward from the protected area.
