The Cliff Carvings of Thousand Buddha Niche at Yangyue Temple is a Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Unit.

Yangyue Temple is listed as a provincial-level cultural relic due to its depictions of the Fifty-Three Buddhas, Twenty-Five Buddhas, and an inscription from the 15th year of the Tianbao era in the Tang Dynasty (756).

Protected area: centered around Niche No. 3, extending 30 meters east and west, 50 meters south, and 10 meters north.

Construction control zone: the protected area extends 80 meters east, 90 meters west, 90 meters south, and 60 meters north.
