Hechuan People's Park

Hechuan People's Park (Hechuan Stadium), reconstructed from a merger of a park and a children’s playground, was built with a total investment of 20 million yuan. The park covers an area of 420 mu, including 80.9 mu of water surface and 40 mu designated for the zoo. It is one of the larger comprehensive parks in Hechuan.

The park is situated in Hechuan, Chongqing, and features lush greenery, vibrant flower arrangements, exquisitely crafted pavilions, and a wide variety of exciting amusement facilities. The overall layout primarily adopts a natural style focused on plant landscapes, divided into six functional areas arranged from north to south: the Flower and Potted Plant Area, Game and Activity Zone, Quiet Sightseeing Area, Zoo Area, Water Activity Area, and Riverside Leisure Area.

Major attractions include: the Wintersweet Garden, Cherry Blossom Garden, Flower and Potted Plant Area, Pipa Lake, Ginkgo Garden, Rose Garden, Palm Garden, Bamboo Grove, Vine Arbor, Leisure Corridor, Aquarium, Rockery Garden, and Lotus Picking Bay. The zoo houses over 150 animals of more than 30 species, including lions, tigers, bears, and leopards—many of which are Class I and II nationally protected animals. Currently, a large-scale ocean aquarium is under construction. There are nearly 20 types of amusement facilities, such as self-controlled airplanes, carousel rides, bumper cars, paddle boats, flying dragons, sky dragons, and mazes.

It serves as both a paradise for children and a place of enjoyment for adults.
