In the Yannada Rainforest Valley, there stands a pair of thousand-year-old Ficus virens trees. They complement each other and are locally referred to as the “Millennium Couple Banyans.” Their roots spread out in a V-shape, a notable feature of the rainforest known as buttress roots. These roots resemble wall panels or the outstretched wings of a roc, extending in all directions to firmly support the massive trunks. Beneath the trees, there is a “tree gate.” Since the Chinese word for banyan (“榕”) sounds like the word for dragon (“龙”), people call it the “Dragon Gate.” Passing through this “Dragon Gate” is believed to bring success and prosperity in one’s future life journey.

Adult Ticket:

Peak season (October–April of the following year): 185 RMB/person (includes 125 RMB entrance ticket + 60 RMB round-trip sightseeing bus),

Off-season (May–September): 165 RMB/person (includes 105 RMB entrance ticket + 60 RMB round-trip sightseeing bus).

Discounted Ticket:

Peak season: 120 RMB/person (includes 60 RMB entrance ticket + 60 RMB round-trip sightseeing bus),

Off-season: 110 RMB/person (includes 50 RMB entrance ticket + 60 RMB round-trip sightseeing bus).

Discount Policy

1. Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) and those under 6 years old (inclusive) may enter free of charge with valid documents such as a household registration book;

2. Individuals between 1.2 and 1.5 meters tall and those under 18 years old (inclusive) may purchase discounted tickets with valid ID such as an identity card or household registration book;

3. Seniors aged 60–69 (with valid ID), students (with a valid student ID from domestic full-time undergraduate programs or below) may purchase discounted tickets;

4. Seniors over 70 years old (with valid ID), people with disabilities (with a disability certificate issued by the China Disabled Persons’ Federation), journalists (with a press card issued by the National Radio and Television Administration), and active-duty military personnel (with valid military ID such as officer or soldier certificates) can enter free of charge and only need to pay 60 RMB for the round-trip sightseeing bus.

Note: Military personnel, journalists, students, people with disabilities, and seniors over 60 who are part of a tour group do not qualify for discounts.
