Eight Banyans Viewing Platform

Passing through the semi-circular natural banyan archway in the Rainforest Valley, you will arrive at the Eight Banyans Viewing Platform, where eight massive banyan trees stand. Legend has it that during a typhoon one year, two-thirds of the roots of one of these banyan trees were torn from the ground by the wind, causing its huge trunk to come crashing down. Just then, another nearby banyan tree used its own trunk to hold up the falling giant in the fierce wind until it finally came to rest. To this day, traces of that moment can still be seen where the two trees meet. The ancient cluster of eight banyans vividly illustrates the deep bonds of nature, and people refer to this group of trees as the "Friendship Banyans."

Adult Ticket:

Peak season (October – next April): 185 RMB/person (includes 125 RMB admission ticket and 60 RMB round-trip sightseeing bus fare),

Off-season (May – September): 165 RMB/person (includes 105 RMB admission ticket and 60 RMB round-trip sightseeing bus fare).

Discounted Ticket:

Peak season: 120 RMB/person (includes 60 RMB admission ticket and 60 RMB round-trip sightseeing bus fare),

Off-season: 110 RMB/person (includes 50 RMB admission ticket and 60 RMB round-trip sightseeing bus fare).

Discount Policy

1. Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) and those under 6 years old (inclusive) may enter free of charge with valid documents such as a household registration book;

2. Those between 1.2–1.5 meters tall and under 18 years old (inclusive) may purchase discounted tickets with valid ID such as an identity card or household registration book;

3. Seniors aged 60–69 (with valid ID), students (with a valid student ID from domestic full-time undergraduate programs or below) may purchase discounted tickets;

4. Seniors over 70 (with valid ID), people with disabilities (with a disability certificate issued by the China Disabled Persons’ Federation), journalists (with a press card issued by the National Radio and Television Administration), and active-duty military personnel (with valid military ID such as officer or soldier certificates) are exempt from the admission fee but must pay 60 RMB for the round-trip sightseeing bus.

Note: Military personnel, journalists, students, people with disabilities, and seniors over 60 who are part of a tour group do not qualify for these discounts.
