Baoting Ningyuan Golf Club was designed by Mr. Laurie, a designer from the globally renowned IMG Design Company. It is an 18-hole, 72-par course built to international standards.

Baoting Ningyuan Golf Club covers an area of about 2,200 acres and features a predominantly mountainous and hilly landscape. The fairways have considerable elevation changes and offer expansive, picturesque views. The total length of the course is 6,911 yards, making it highly challenging. Hole 4 at Ningyuan Golf Club spans a water hazard, with a green that slopes from low in front to high at the back, offering a significant challenge. Hole 7 is a short par 4—313 yards—with a dramatic elevation change that tests your driver accuracy. In addition, there are two karst-landform hot spring outlets on either side of the fairway, which display different colors in different seasons, adding a truly unique touch. Hole 8 features a sharp right-angle turn, a treacherous green, and is surrounded by bunkers and hazards, making it the most difficult par 4 on the course and offering you a chance to challenge yourself.
