Fengping Yue Ting is a cultural heritage site protected by Hainan Province.

Fengping Yue Ting is located in Dafeng Village, Dafeng Town, Chengmai County, about ten kilometers from the old town (the former county seat). It was first built in the 61st year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1722 AD) and was renovated in the 2nd year of the Tongzhi reign (1863 AD), remaining preserved to the present day. The structure faces south, is built of wood and stone, and follows a single-entry, quadrangle courtyard layout. The front section consists of the main gate, the middle section is the courtyard, and the rear is the main hall. It is about 10 meters wide and roughly 20 meters deep, covering a total area of approximately 200 square meters. “Fengping Yue Ting” means the meeting place for discussions in the Fengping district. Due to its location along a key transportation route at the time, with densely populated villages, a large population, and thriving trade and logistics, it developed into a market and was also known as “Fengping Duofengpu (Market).” Along the bluestone-paved road, there are also market boundary steles for different trades—such as meat, fish, rice, oil, and salt—all clearly demarcated for trade, conducted according to agreed terms, treating all customers fairly, reflecting the bustling commerce and prosperity of the time. Dafeng Town: The predecessor of Dafeng Town (Chengmai Overseas Chinese Farm) in Chengmai County was the Dafeng People's Commune of Chengmai County, established in 1975. To meet the needs of relocating returned and displaced overseas Chinese, the preparatory office of the Chengmai Overseas Chinese Farm was set up in December 1978. In December 1979, the Guangdong Provincial Revolutionary Committee approved the establishment of the Chengmai Overseas Chinese Farm. In July 1982, the Hainan Administrative Region Office approved the revocation of the Dafeng People's Commune of Chengmai County and its incorporation into the Chengmai Overseas Chinese Farm.
