Fuliji Hongshu Bay Wetland Park

Fuliji Hongshu Bay Wetland Park is located in Chengmai County in northern Hainan, adjacent to Haikou, the provincial capital of Hainan. It is about a 40-minute drive from Haikou Airport, and is even referred to as the "back garden of Haikou." The park combines the wetland landscape of Hongshu Bay, rare bird species, and various leisure and entertainment centers, offering fresh air and picturesque scenery.

By walking along the 4.2-kilometer-long wooden boardwalk within the park, you can take in the vast expanse of the “water forest.” These trees have intertwined roots, anchored in the mud beneath the water, with lush green foliage that brims with vitality. In addition to the mangrove wetlands, another highlight is the flock of “red sprites” on Flamingo Island. Watching them move gracefully and freely is a unique delight.

If you get hungry while exploring, you can dine and rest at the Flamingo Restaurant or the Hongshu Bay Style Market within the scenic area. There are also many resort hotels in the surrounding area where you can choose to stay overnight and fully enjoy a relaxing getaway.
