The Feng Clan Ancestral Hall in Shishique Village is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The General’s Residence (Feng Clan Grand Ancestral Hall) in Shishique Village was originally built in 609 AD, the Wenlin Feng Ancestral Hall in the 13th year of the Hongzhi reign of the Ming Dynasty (1550), and the Xiaoyang Marquis Temple during the Qing Dynasty. The traditional architecture in Shishique Village is clustered together, with over 230 ancient volcanic rock dwellings covering a total area of 26,630 square meters, most of which are preserved in relatively good condition. The village is elegant and rustic, with the majority of traditional buildings retaining intact main structures. Most courtyards are of the independent courtyard type, and some buildings feature the typical Hainanese “ten-pillar” style bungalow structure. The stones are volcanic rocks, and the wood materials include fir and breadfruit-patterned panels, making it a representative cluster of traditional volcanic rock residential architecture in Chengmai County and even Hainan Province. Additionally, there are 15 stone-paved roads within the ancient village, all made of volcanic rock, connecting the traditional volcanic rock dwellings in a crisscross pattern that forms a unique comb-like road network layout.

On October 7, 2019, the Feng Clan Ancestral Hall in Shishique Village was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
