Qing’ao Hot Springs is located in Qingti Village Committee, Wupo Town. The area surrounding the hot springs has a forest coverage rate of over 80%, featuring lush mountains, clear waters, winding streams, and vibrant, dreamlike scenery reminiscent of a fairyland. This geographical setting is a geothermal field of thermal mineral water. The terrain is relatively low-lying, generally higher in the north and lower in the south, with undulating landforms mainly consisting of eroded hills and piedmont plain areas, with relatively flat small basins in between valleys. The region has a tropical island monsoon climate, cool in summer and warm in winter, with distinct dry and wet seasons. The geothermal field area is often shrouded in mist year-round, especially during autumn and winter, offering pleasant temperatures, fresh air, and beautiful surroundings — truly a paradise on earth. It is an ideal destination for eco-wellness, countryside adventures, and folk culture tourism. In addition, the groundwater at Qing’ao Hot Springs contains a variety of trace elements with active properties and a certain level of mineralization. With a temperature of 46°C and a daily natural flow of over 260 tons, the thermal mineral spring water offers therapeutic and health benefits for conditions such as obesity, musculoskeletal disorders, nervous system diseases, gout, and skin problems.

Qingti Village: Qingti Village Committee is located at the southern end of the town center, comprising three natural villages and 11 village groups, with a total population of 1,745 people across 380 households. The land area spans 6,500 mu, including 1,200 mu of arable land and 2,000 mu of forested land. The area is abundant in crops such as areca nuts, rubber, peanuts, black beans, and rice. It is also the main route to Hongling Reservoir. Historically, the main sources of income for local residents have been rice cultivation, rubber and areca nut farming, vegetable production, animal husbandry, and aquaculture. Currently, the total planted area of areca nuts and rubber in the village is 1,100 mu.
