Era: Zhou Dynasty

Address: Ancient City Village and surrounding areas, Zhangdian Town, Pinglu County

According to the Pinglu County Annals (Qianlong Edition) from the Qing Dynasty: This city was the capital of the ancient Yu State, which was destroyed by Duke Xian of Jin during the Spring and Autumn Period. The ancient city ruins stretch 2.5 meters from north to south and 2 kilometers from east to west. Currently, over 300 meters of the outer southern wall remain, with the wall foundation being 15–20 meters wide, and the rammed earth layers are 6–8 centimeters thick.

In May 2013, it was announced by the State Council as part of the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
