Dazhai Village is part of the Jinping Hongyao Terraces. Through generations of cultivation by the Hongyao people, who have lived here for centuries, these spectacular terraced fields have been formed. The lifestyle, folk culture, traditional architecture, and terraced landscapes of the Hongyao ethnic group blend seamlessly, presenting a natural scenery rich in ethnic characteristics.

The Jinping Terraces are characterized by their well-preserved, ancient Hongyao ethnic customs. Their hairstyles, jewelry, clothing, cuisine, wedding traditions, and festivals all retain an air of ancient mystery and uniqueness.
