Jiulong Waterfall Cluster National Forest Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national forest park.

Jiulong Waterfall Forest Park is located at the western foot of Zhenglung Mountain, 118 kilometers east of Nanning. The forest area is covered with ancient trees and old vines that block out the sunlight, while flying waterfalls and flowing springs run year-round.

The park has extremely abundant water resources, with five major streams—Shizi Stream, Pingtian Stream, Liyu Stream, and Jiulong Stream—flowing continuously all year long. These converge into waterfalls, forming over 20 large and small waterfalls within the park, each with its own unique features.

Among them, the core scenic area features nine major waterfalls: White Dragon Emerging from the Pool, Dragons Welcoming Guests, Twin Dragons Playing with a Pearl, Purple Dragons Meeting, Dragon Maiden Spitting Pearls, Nine Dragons Entering the Palace, Flying Dragon Paying Homage to the Spring, Divine Dragon Celebrating in the Hall, and Dragon Drum Resounding in the Pool.

In the central square, there is also the largest sculpture in Guangxi, showcasing harmony between humans and nature: the Hundred Birds’ Garment Flying Goddess Group Sculpture.

Visitor Guide

In the morning, visit Dragons Welcoming Guests, Twin Dragons Playing with a Pearl, Purple Dragons Meeting, Dragon Maiden Spitting Pearls, Nine Dragons Entering the Palace, Divine Dragon Celebrating in the Hall, Dragon Drum Resounding in the Pool, play with monkeys at Monkey Mountain, and enjoy leisure time by the Youran Lake. For lunch, dine at the Hundred Birds’ Garment Restaurant in the scenic area or join a free barbecue or picnic activity. After lunch, visit the Fountain Garden and Hundred Birds’ Garment Square to see Guangxi’s largest sculpture—the Hundred Birds’ Garment Group Sculpture. Then admire waterfalls such as White Dragon Emerging from the Pool and Flying Dragon Paying Homage to the Spring. Tip: The air in the scenic area is humid, so waterproof clothing is recommended. In case of rain, please take anti-slip precautions.

Transportation

1. Take a bus from Nanning Langdong Bus Station to Hengxian (every 30 minutes from 7:00–19:00), then transfer to another bus to Jiulong Waterfall after arriving in the county.

2. Take a bus from Huaqiang Road Bus Terminal to Hengxian, then transfer to the forest park in the county, or hire a private car.

3. Self-driving route (approximately 136 km): Nanning (via Nanning–Liuzhou Expressway) --> Gula Ganshang Exit --> Luxu --> Ganshang --> Lingzhu --> Jiulong Waterfall Cluster.
